Judith Love Schwab is an artist who produces paintings, copper wall sculptures, mixed media work, and free standing sculpture containing copper and other materials. She has her studio in the mountains of Virginia where she lives with her husband. Her copper work often uses textile methods of construction with the results being as light weight as her paintings on canvas. Schwab has produced private commissions and placed pieces in corporate settings. She strives to compose her abstract copper pieces in a painterly color field style, working with the results of an intense system of coloring the metal through immersion in fire, then water.
